I picked up this Breton striped dress at Gap the other day and brought it out this past weekend, since it was kind of perfectly festive without being obnoxious.  Since it is the ubiquitous Gap, and shockingly affordable at $39.50, I saw many a gal sporting it around the city over the weekend. But I’m okay with that, I like to think I kind of made it all my own.

On our walk home from a jaunt to the Fillmore Jazz Festival for sangria, saxophones and fresh salt water taffy, my girlfriend Aileen and I found a pretty garden tucked in this little neighborhood called Pacific Heights. Maybe you’ve heard of it? A photoshoot was born.

As you can see, to set me apart from the crowd, I chose to jewel-up my striped dress – coral necklace from Anthropologie, turquoise necklace  Banana Republic, gold charm necklace my own creation. P.S. this dress also comes in tee shirt form! It’s on sale, run don’t walk!
