I was spending some quality time in blog land yesterday and stumbled upon some pictures that gave me seriously lust. Jak & Jil blog posted these street style photos earlier this week of some very chic ladies carrying the latest “it” bag in the fashion scene- the Céline Classic Box Bag – during Paris & NY Fashion Week. I am dying over these pictures. I want this bag. I am lusting after this bag.
I love its prim modern minimalism – most certainly a move away from the heavily hardware’d bags trendy in seasons past. I love the clean vintage shape, the gleaming simple gold clasp and the adjustable (how practical!) shoulder strap. Pure understated, Parisian luxury. Well done, Phoebe Philo (girl knows what she’s doing). I can almost smell the beautiful dead baby cow leather through the computer just looking at these photos….

apparently, its a law or something that if you’re a chic lady in Paris, you must own one of these bag…
p.s. while I am partial to the classic calf leather kind, it also comes in python (!)
