Like many of you, I kind of feel a little gipped on summer here in San Francisco as we near its end. Not that this is unexpected, as SF summers tend to involve a lot of fog, and thus, moderately freezing temps. However, even after 3 years it is hard to get used to.

Last weekend I attended a wine festival at my alma mater in sunny Santa Clara, California. Despite it being mid September, the temperature felt like high-summer in Santa Clara. It was the perfect opportunity to break out one of my favorite easy, laid-back batik-printed dresses from my personal archives. It felt like the perfect choice for the Indian Summer day.
