San Francisco’s Indian Summer has started to turn into true Fall this week as there is a definite chill in the air come morning and evening. This change of weather has me seriously thinking about the coming of true sweater weather. More specifically, it has me dreaming about cozying up to an oversized cardigan sweater – and one a graphic Navajo or Nordic pattern on it, which I am seeing out there as the big trend of the moment. There is something so very Pendleton about these cardigans. And I have always had a thing for Pendleton being a born and breed Northwest girl (they are made in Oregon) who grew up sleeping under their blankets in the winter. These sweaters are pretty much blankets themselves – throw one on over a tee shirt, skinny jeans and some worn-in Frye boots and you’re cozy warm all season. Wearing one of these sweaters makes winter so much more bearable….
