I had a near perfect Sunday spent in the eternally sunny (despite chilly) Mission disctrict with my friend Amanda, coffee drinking, brunching, chatting, strolling, vintage shopping (I did very well at my favorite little vintage shop, Painted Bird on 24th& Valencia- finds include a couple of cute sweaters and an oversized faux snakeskin clutch), and tropical fruit stand trolling (the Mission truly amazes me). Look at those mangoes!

I freaking LOVE The Painted Bird!! I cannot leave that store empty handed. It’s my favorite Mission thrift stop, hands down.
@Natalie – totally agreed. Never leave empty handed! I had to put stuff back and now I regret it!
I’ve been wanting to find some new thrifting spots and it sounds like Painted Birds is a must visit… will def have to check it out. Thanks for the tip! Love the color of that scarf on you too. :)
