This past Saturday I hosted five lovely ladies (and one fab photographer) at my apartment for a party of sorts. Contrary to the pictures seen here it was actually an afternoon manicure themed tea party photographed exclusively for a feature on the Glitter Guide (our favorite glitttery & girly online newsletter/ blogazine founded by the talented Taylor of Sterling Style) – complete with a nail tutorial for ‘ombre glitter tipped nails’ (on natural nails) and ideas and inspiration for how to throw your own similar party for girlfriends.

Sharing with you here some fun outtakes from the day – we had to mix in some pomegranate Prosecco cocktails with the tea while doing our nails to loosen ourselves up for the shoot and give us a little glow, of course! Here I am above serving up cocktails with french tip adhesive strips on my nails (see tutorial!). See photo below for the shimmery final product.
It was such a fun day and I have to thank Glitter Guide Editor and my close friend, Alicia, for being the photographer for the shoot and helping me brainstorm ideas and organize it all! And many thanks to Erica, Nikki, Hilaire and Sara for being such fun guests and great friends.
