This is one of those dresses you wear and you instantly become ‘the girl in the red dress.’ I purchased it several years ago at a vintage store on Haight Street in SF, yet I have only worn it once or twice, surprisingly. With red being a big color trend of late I got all inspired to bring it out of the back of my closet and merchandise it up. I forgot how much I loved the classic vintage silhouette – nipped in waist and full, midi length skirt. It somehow feels perfectly right for pre-fall 2011, dontcha think?
dress & clutch: vintage, belt: thrifted amer eagle outfitters, scarf: h&m, shoes: old navy, nail polish: butter london ‘primrose hill picnic’, lipstick: nars velvet matte lip pencil in ‘dragon girl’
