I did just that (escape… leave behind glamour….) with a bunch of friends at a beautiful farm in Northern California this past weekend. Cozy flannel and fairisle sweaters were worn and tractor rides and campfire singalongs were had. One friend saw these pictures and said we looked like we were at some kind of Pottery Barn ‘Outdoor Spaces’ catalog shoot locale, and she’s kind of right. It was the kind of place that makes you daydream about running away from your current life and taking up residence on a rural farm and riding horses and wearing hunter rain boots and giant sweaters all day. Wouldn’t that be nice? Actually I don’t like horses that much, but you get my point…
I’m with you ! Let’s leave it all behind and I will mind the horses and any other critters we have. I enjoyed looking at these pictures, just peaceful to view. I’m glad you got away and relished in the great weather and good friends.
