“In that dream I’m as old as the mountains, still as starlight reflected in fountains, children grown on the edge of the ocean, kept like jewelry kept with devotion” – Fleet Foxes, Grown Ocean
I had the privilege of growing up in a really special place…on the edge of the ocean in the Pacific Northwest. It’s still the place I go to recharge and relax. Growing up in Seattle has undoubtably influenced my personal style, even though I haven’t lived there officially in many years. It’s where the seeds of my style were sown and it’ll probably always be in me.
These pictures are the style lookbook of my life. They were taken at my childhood home on our rocky barnacled beach over Thanksgiving weekend on the clearest, prettiest late November day. See… it doesn’t always rain in Seattle.
Very pretty indeed. That is why you are part mermaid …
