Day 1 of my New York Fashion Week, check and check!

I flew in on the red eye (efficiency, people) and arrived Wednesday morning here in NY and spent the majority of the day at my third Lucky Fabb conference (see coverage of the last 2 here and here), mingling with blogging friends and hearing great panel speakers. Two takeaways (of the many): must read DVF’s autobiography, and Gilt.com and Yoox.com are seriously impressive – watch for cool things coming up from them. As far as my outfit, I have decided to really embrace my favorite fall trend and went for some serious gothic glamour in head to toe black lace with a jeweled headband I made myself inspired by this look (it’s Chanel).
