Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending a ‘Tastemaker Brunch’ here in San Francisco hosted by the lovely & talented Sarah Seven in honor of the debut of her Fall 2013 Ready to Wear and Bridal lines. It was the most adorable and girly glam set-up in the tented and heat-lamped backyard of Sarah’s showroom, complete with a singer-songwriter serenading us. Along with 20 or so other bloggers and tastemakers, I brunched on quiche and scones and fun pink drinks and watched an up close and personal showing of Sarah’s latest magical creations. I really couldn’t have asked for a better Sunday. As an ode to Sarah’s aesthetic I wore my favorite metallic maxi skirt and my beloved jeweled headpiece.

If you haven’t heard of Sarah Seven and her designs, you must check her out. They are so girly and glamorous, yet sophistocated and free-spirited. I especially love her all over sequined numbers – truly exquisite in real life. And the magic she does with sweetheart bodices…. I actually first met Sarah while at a bridal fitting with one of my best friends this past summer, so it was so fun to come back and see her latest collection. She has the kind of unconventional and whimsical Bridal aesthetic that I could see myself going for one day.

I hope everyone had fab weekends. I can’t believe it will be Thanksgiving in a few short days. I am lucky to be headed home tomorrow night to be with my family for 6 days, yay! xx
