A couple of Sundays ago, I attended Kinfolk Magazine‘s Herbal Infusion workshop at Philadelphia’s West Elm store. Kinfolk is a photography based quarterly magazine run by and for creative types out of Portland, Oregon. If you haven’t seen it before, you should check it out as it is really a beautiful publication (it’s available at Anthropologie). They have developed a lifestyle community around the magazine and put on really amazing events, including these workshops and dinners. It was kind of the best way to spend a Sunday in my mind, doing crafts (making tea bags, herbal infused olive oil, bath salts and finishing sugars) and eating yummy food at a beautifully decorated communal table, enjoying the company of all kinds of creative types from all over Philly (these events tend to attract those). See my photos below and the recipe for one of my favorite DIYs of the day, lavender orange epsom bath salts.
Thank you to Emily & Erick of Hello Home Shoppe for hosting the event and making all of the food. xx
