I was asked recently to put together a little guide to Philly- all of my favorite places to eat, drink & do (which I will be publishing here very soon)- including pictures of me in front of my favorite Philly landmark. I chose the Philadelphia Art Museum- specifically, it’s front steps, which are of course iconic for those scenes in ‘Rocky.’ The Art Museum is my favorite landmark for a couple of reasons –  1) the art inside (so many good impressionists), and 2) the view from the top of the steps (I missed the mark on a picture of that for sure), which is of the whole city looking down Ben Franklin Parkway to City Hall.  You can’t miss a trip here if you ever visit Philly (and you should! Come hang with me!). My outfit is an ode to classic East Coast Prep – which seemed appropriate- with my own twist of course (I don’t think anyone would ever call me ‘preppy’ but I do have an appreciation for the classics). Nautical Stripes in a cool slouchy silhouette and a structured Navy fluted skirt. Classic tortoise shell sunglasses and a red lip finish off the a-little-Americana look.

The sunshine is out and this weekend is looking to be in the 80s! I’m a plannin a day trip to the beach! Gotta get some vitamin D and get my toes in the ocean!
