… One of my personal style icons is Margherita Missoni. I have always loved her authentic sense of self and free spirit attitude that comes through in how she dresses. Her glamorous bohemian style evokes a life well lived: heiress and muse to major Italian fashion house, year-round jetsetter, fashion A-lister. Yet, despite it all, she doesn’t…

vogue hits san francisco
This is what was happening just miles from my apartment last Thursday evening while I was sitting on my couch watching Sex & The City reruns in my bathrobe drinking Two Buck Chuck. Yes, that is Miss Anna Wintour (I love her jewels and her furrrrr) cracking a joke to Gwyneth (with Mia Wasikowska and a dapper date…
going tribal
… I am having major lust over these tribal inspired fringe necklaces from Italian brand Iosselliani. The multi-colored fringe effect is made by dip-dyeing and partially oxidizing silver and gold and other mixed metals. Too cool. I love the one at the top is peppered with Swarovski crystals for added Glam factor.

Insert giddy sound effect. … Alexander McQueen Clearly, Sarah Burton was a big fan of Black Swan, as this collection seems to be heavily inspired by it – the themes are written all over…
PFW: the show must go on
Would it ever be a successful week in the world of fashion without a little (or a lot) of drama? A little bit of blood, sweat, and tears? Fall 11 Fashion Month officially ended last Friday in Paris (with Paris Fashion Week), and it went out with a bang. There was no shortage of drama, starting…
